We collect only the information you provide: your name, username, password (stored securely as a hash), and the expense data you enter or scan. Receipt images are processed to extract details and are not stored permanently unless you choose to.
Your expense data is used solely to provide you with tracking, reports, budgets, and exports. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
Each account is fully isolated — only you can access your own expenses. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard methods and are never stored in plain text.
When you scan a receipt, the image is sent to our AI processing service to extract details. This processing is used only to fill your expense form and is not used for any other purpose.
You can delete any expense entry at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at support@upiscan.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via email.
